The Nepal Geotechnical Society extends a warm invitation to geotechnical engineers, geoscientists, professionals, and researchers from around the world to participate in “GeoMandu 2024,” the second installment of the esteemed “GeoMandu” series organized by the Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS). This biennial event is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu on November 28th and 29th, 2024, with a central theme of “Geotechnics for Sustainable Infrastructure.”
Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) invites all interested practicing and professional geotechnical engineers, civil engineers involved in geotechnics research and exploration, engineering geologists, seismologists, geoscientists, geomorphologists, ground hydrologists, and all professionals and researchers working in the field of geotechnics to contribute their research papers or project reports and to present their work in this conference. Please submit your work if it is somehow related to geotechnical engineering, geoscience, geohazards, geo-infra disasters, and sustainability.
GeoMandu 2024, the second event of biennial international conference series of the Nepal Geotechnical Society, themed as "Geotechnics for Sustainable Infrastructures” is scheduled for November 28-29, this year in Kathmandu. This international conference is expected to attract 100+ international delegates, including the representatives of ISSMGE, and over 200 domestic participants from geotechnical, geological, and civil engineering disciplines and including policymakers and entrepreneurs from various sectors.
