Welcome to the Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) – a leading scientific organization established on May 18, 1994. We are an independent, non-profit institution dedicated to advancing Geotechnical Engineering and related Geosciences in Nepal.

Since affiliating with the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) in 1995, NGS has proudly represented Nepal as one of the Asian member societies in the global forum of geotechnical engineers and professionals.

NGS serves as a driving force in the geotechnical profession by fostering national collaboration and facilitating the exchange of knowledge on research and developments in geotechnical engineering, geosciences, and related fields. Our commitment is to contribute to the advancement of Nepal and to the well-being of global society through our professional work.
